Our Story

At the age of 19, Spencer Caldwell accepted a 2-year mission calling for his church, serving the people of Mississippi and Louisiana. During this journey, he learned that he loved working with people. After completing his mission, Spencer was on his way to a career in dentistry when his attention was diverted to the immediate opportunities and limitless potential of real estate in his home state of Arizona.

He took a break from dental school during his fourth year at Arizona State University to observe successful real estate mentors across the U.S., and never looked back. Within a year, Spencer purchased 10 investment homes and launched a profitable career, buying and selling investment properties at auction. He’d found his passion.

In 2007, Spencer and founded Gentry Real Estate Group. Helping thousands of real estate investors and first-time homebuyers purchase investment properties selling over $1 billion in real estate.

Not bad for a kid from Snowflake, Arizona—named after Spencer’s third great-grandpa—where he grew up on his family’s pig farm.

Spencer’s passion for real estate is at the heart of his success today. Being an entrepreneur at heart he owns and runs several other companies including a family barbecue restaurant called Caldwell County BBQ serving the best Texas BBQ in Arizona.

Spencer and his wife Alisa Wares have four children—Ethan, Ellee, Weston, and Wyatt. His real estate career allows Spencer the flexibility to spend time with his family—at least some weekends!

No. We start there because it builds skills fast. We also cover rentals, wholesaling, and small-business acquisition fundamentals.

Do I need a lot of cash to start?

We teach multiple funding options and how to avoid over-leveraging. Clarity first, capital second.

How much time do I need weekly?

Plan on 4–6 focused hours. Many students do this alongside a full-time job. Your daily minimum is 5 minutes to keep moving.
